As a huge huge fan of Mr. Trump, I of course have watched every season of the Apprentice.
(And made comments way beyond my husband’s annoyment level what they should be doing something and telling my own marketing theories – it probably was sometime when me and him watched Apprentice that he said I should put all my knowledge in use and start my own company).
Celebrity Apprentice is even more interesting because of the high profile contestants.
I just read The Women’s Dish with Diane & Friends written by Diane K. Danielson from the Downtown Women’s Club and she wrote how you and I can help women’s team to win Celebrity Apprentice. She had received a letter from Nely’s friend explaining how we can help.
Here is the letter Diane received:
Dear Diane,
As you all know Nely Galan has been competing on The Celebrity Apprentice to raise money for Count Me In. The women’s team on the show is not winning. “But,” as Nely said at our Los Angeles event last week, “sometimes when you win you lose, and when you lose you win”. In response to criticism from “Mr. Trump” that the women’s strategies aren’t as effective as the men’s, Nely is changing the rules and focusing on what she really wants to win: $250,000 for her charity, Count Me In.
This Friday, February 8th Nely will be appearing on NBC’s Today Show to announce she is personally donating $25,000 to Count Me In, and is leading the charge to independently raise $250,000 by tapping into the network of women who are supporting each other in business growth. I invite every member of our community to join in this effort by making a donation $10 or more by midnight on Thursday, February 7th so that we can announce the amount we have raised on the Today Show Friday morning. This is a unique opportunity for Count Me In to represent the strength of our nation-wide movement on national television.
To participate, please go to www.countmein.org/apprentice and click on “Contribute”.
And what is Count Me In? In their words:
“At Count Me In, we believe in YOU! Our mission is to promote economic independence and the growth of women owned businesses. Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence is the leading national not for profit provider of online business loans, resources and community for women entrepreneurs.”
Hooray for that – and let’s show what’s women’s networking is all about!!

Celebrity Apprentice sounds too good. Unfortunately, I get way too hooked to those shows and find myself NOT doing things that need to be done…so I guess I'll miss another season@!
