Whether I’m at the kids’ school party or at the side of the road taking pictures of mountains, I always seem to have someone asking me which camera I have. I like to think it’s just the owners pride and the semi-professional touch I have to photography making people ask this from me, but it’s probably all about the camera. It is so good that it makes me look good too!
If you take your photos even a bit seriously, you might want to consider Canon Digital Rebel XTi 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera. And why I’m writing this now? I found it on sale at Amazon!
The picture clarity is amazing – I took some photos of the kids this winter throwing snow, and you could see the little spots of snow flying while the kids faces were all clear. I’m driving down the road and see a deer – just point and shoot from a moving car and I’ve captured a perfect picture of a deer. The camera is fast! I always missed the best baby faces with my old camera, and never go good pictures of kids running around – they were too fast. No problem with the Rebel. If you really want to know: the startup time is 0.2 seconds. You will get the photo you want, not what happens 5 seconds after that.
I’m no pro here, and my skills need a lot more practising, but at least I didn’t have spend a month reading the camera manual trying to figure how to use it. It really is as simple as a push of a button. The first push autofocuses and the second one takes the picture.
If you have been wanting a new digital camera for a while, and are wondering which one to get, consider the Canon digital Rebel. It normally runs for 1000-1400$, depending on a lens, but now it is 589.88$ at Amazon. I don’t know how long the price is good, but what I do know – that’s 58% of savings.

I’m not sure if this is temptation or blessing…I’ve been thinking about getting a new camera, for no good reason, really. Except that I want a digital SLR. If only that tax rebate check were here now…
