Twitter is fun.
Twitter is for networking moguls, for mommy bloggers and a network where both PC and MAC geeks and Obama and McCain supporters tweet in harmony. After all, you can’t say much in 140 characters – but you can say enough.
This week’s fun at Twitter has included changing your profile picture to a Superhero or to you High School Picture. The newest fun is Twitter-giveaways. One of the most interesting peeps at Twitter, @garyvee, started giveaways as a @santagaryvee for followers and now many others at Twitterville have joined him in the new Twitter trend.
@zappos just recently offered one free pair of shoes to one follower AND ten free pairs of shoes for the winner’s followers.
Twitter giveaways are the new blog giveaways. Twitter is a nice new hangout, like the new place after you’ve been hanging out at Blogosphere, World of Facebook & MySpace and Forumstown.

To make it more fun, I’m jumping into Twitter Giveaway wagon and giving away a pair of Livie & Luca children’s shoes from Skimbaco.com to one of my followers as soon I hit 500 followers. (I was at 371 followers on Saturday afternoon when this idea hit me – with a little help from @WarrenWhitlock)
