One of the reasons why we wanted to move close to New York City was the entertainment, the Broadway, the plays, the shows, the fun. And this Holiday season I really want to take kids to see at least one Holiday show, and the options in New York City are overwhelming, so many good ones to choose from. But Wintuk by Cirque Du Soleil seems to be one of the most unique shows out there, and something new and exciting, that I know me and kids would love to see. This seasonal story, which features a cast of 50 performers from Cirque du Soleil, is back this year with a mind-blowing new trampoline act and astounding puppet creations by Michael Curry.
Wintuk is a story of a boy who wants to find snow, he lives in a cold city, and seeks out to the imaginary North world called Wintuk to get snow to his city. The boy, Jamie, meets acrobats, dancers and ice giants in this adventure through the city and to Wintuk. The show is a combination of singing, dancing and acrobatics, something unique and exciting only Cirque Du Soleil can deliver.
Wintuk runs until January 4th in the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
