iPod Touch Giveaway!

by Katja Presnal on February 12, 2009

I can not believe how fast this month has gone so far and it’s almost Valentine’s Day!

I admit… I haven’t done anything for Valentine’s Day so far… but I have Walmart to the rescue!

I downloaded Walmart’s Blow a Kiss iPhone application and have been having fun with it and finding great (and cheap) gift ideas from the store and sending kisses for my friends. And yes, you really blow in your iPhone to send kisses and get new gift ideas.

In addition to the gift ideas from the stores, the Walmart community shares great Valentine’s Day tips and you can even send your own personalized Valentine’s Day cards at Walmart.com.

One of my favorites at the site is the Top Love Songs of All Times and I hope you like it too, because you have a change to win an Apple iPod Touch 2nd Generation 8GB and $10 Walmart Gift Card with what you can download ten love songs!

Key Features of the iPod Touch:

* Built-in Wi-Fi and Nike + iPod support
* Buy music on the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store

Last minute gift idea? Why, chocolate, of course!! Now, who doesn’t like chocolate?

8 Elissa Klaver February 12, 2009 at 22:16

Last minute idea? Handmade card with a hand written love poem. Help from the kids always adds a special touch too :) For a more romantic approach: Massage oil with his favorite scent, or a Massage Candle. I have a little advantage though on the bath and body care since I own my own business! Great giveaway – thanks!

Hi Katja! I like to do Valentine’s for my whole family – here’s this year’s plan:

1. a heart shaped wall “pocket” of everyone’s fave treats (Reece’s hearts) including some original photos I’m making into Valentines for everyone – the “pocket” was made by one of my boys when he was little :)

2. lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and red velvet cupcakes from Sprinkles

3. renting the movie “the Holiday”

My last minute idea is to write a poem. It doesn’t have to be long, just heartfelt. Or you could do a bunch of poems are centered around one poem, such as Roses are red…see where I’m going with this?

I’m in NEED of last minute V-day gift tips. :-) We’re not big spenders and we don’t go out much. I’m thinking about making some heart shaped cookies with the kids tomorrow and writing a nice note to my hubby (and hopefully getting one in return!)

And, this can’t be used on V-Day, but you can celebrate love on the 15th, too, right? A B1G1 entree coupon for TGIFridays! It’s my tip to my hubby for my gift. So I don’t have to cook. Or do dishes. Here’s a link to the coupon: http://www.tgifridays.com/promos/bogo_coupon.aspx?fromeTarget

I made each of my daughters a bracelet for Valentine’s Day. They are simple and sweet and I know they will love them. It didn’t take much time to make them. Thanks for the great giveaway!

Valentine’s last minute tip: buy a classy book if you are out of ideas.

#Twitted, Stumbled, and Subscribed.

24 Tiffany February 12, 2009 at 23:25

last minute valentine: Go to wal mart and buy a 1 dollar pink table cloth, 1 dollar heart tumblers, candles, heart plates and napkins, pink plastic forks, ect. Set the table with these things. Make a good dinner. eat together and for desert, a heart shaped cake with pink or red frosting and heart sprinkles.

25 The Mom Jen February 12, 2009 at 23:45

Here’s a tip for the cheap date….drive to the local mini mart and pick up one of those roses with the water tube attatched to the bottom. $1-1.59. Budget done. Come home fill the bath with hot water, light some candles, romance done. Finally, for the added “Valentine’s Touch” toss petals from the rose into the tub. Pray that works! ;)

26 Michelle February 13, 2009 at 00:26

Last minute gifts: I downloaded some free ringtone software and made a ringtone of “our” song for his phone so that when I call him, it plays.
