iPod Touch Giveaway!

by Katja Presnal on February 12, 2009

I can not believe how fast this month has gone so far and it’s almost Valentine’s Day!

I admit… I haven’t done anything for Valentine’s Day so far… but I have Walmart to the rescue!

I downloaded Walmart’s Blow a Kiss iPhone application and have been having fun with it and finding great (and cheap) gift ideas from the store and sending kisses for my friends. And yes, you really blow in your iPhone to send kisses and get new gift ideas.

In addition to the gift ideas from the stores, the Walmart community shares great Valentine’s Day tips and you can even send your own personalized Valentine’s Day cards at Walmart.com.

One of my favorites at the site is the Top Love Songs of All Times and I hope you like it too, because you have a change to win an Apple iPod Touch 2nd Generation 8GB and $10 Walmart Gift Card with what you can download ten love songs!

Key Features of the iPod Touch:

* New contoured design
* Revolutionary Multi-Touch touchscreen interface
* Brilliant 3.5″ widescreen display
* Ambient light sensor and accelerometer
* Built-in volume controls and speaker
* Built-in Wi-Fi and Nike + iPod support
* Buy music on the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store
* Rent movies from iTunes to watch on iPod touch

My last minute gift idea is just to do something simple. Go out to a nice dinner and rent a movie. Thanks for the great opportunity.

My last minute gift standby are self made coupon books. The coupons depend on the person they are going to. Many times I make them for extra gift items or stocking stuffers.

Last minute gift idea could be a shadow box with pics of you together or of your kids, an old movie ticket of a movie you saw together, things from a first date, something that reminds them of how you met. I did this once and stuck in an Arby’s fry container because that’s basically where we met.

My last minute tip is to create something. A poem, a meaningful letter about the love you feel for that person, a painting or card. Something truly from the heart.

I would much rather receive a beautiful love letter from my husband than a card and flowers.

I always try to keep cake or some kind of dessert around the house so I would just make what ever I had up. My kids would make handmade cards for us.
