I confess… I have not read the Twilight books, and I have not seen the Twilight movie. I know, I know, I am so behind of one of the best series of all times (I hear)! I had of course heard of the books and the movie before, but I didn’t realize how Big Deal this whole thing was until Walmart approach all of us Elevenmoms and told us about the Twilight DVD release (check out the counter counting down the days – DVD coming out on March 21st) and so many of the Elevenmoms started absolutely raving about the books and the movie. I am not into the whole vampire stuff, and thought that this might not be for me – but after hearing all of my best friends to be so excited about Twilight I figured I had to get Twilighted here.
So – I went to Walmart and bought two first books of the Twilight series yesterday. Most everyone who had read the books told me to buy two at the time – I heard reading may become addictive, and I might want to have the next book on hand. I’m going to start reading Twilight series on Friday on my flight to SXSW conference in Austin, where I will be joining the other Elevenmoms. I’m hoping that I have at least the first two books read before the Twilight DVD comes out.

I watched Twilight on my pc and it was so good! I like the way the way the leading actress acts much like I did in School. The leading actor is so cute and when he took the leading actress flying around and then to meet the family; that was cool also. I liked all the actors and the ending was great but I`m not telling! I`m dying to own this dvd:)

I just finished the last book in the series. I missed the movie when it was in theaters and now I’m dying to see what actors are playing the characters. I have mental pictures of the characters and I’m hoping the actors playing them live up to my image. I can’t wait to watch the dvd.

I have heard the hype and it sounds like its well worth it… I have been a huge fan of this genre from Angel to Moonlight to Blade to Underworld. This is something that I wanted to see with my daughter as she is VERY excited about it to. Would love the opportunity!

I have to admit, i am soooo overly obsessed with this saga and the movie, and I just cant wait for it to come out on dvd! I’m definately Team Jacob and im sooo excited 4 New Moon to come out November 4th too. I’ll be the one at the midnight showing (and at least 10 more after that, who needs sleep when you could be watching Taylor Lautner on the big screen, right?) with “Team Jacob” written all over her LOL. Anyways my favorite parts are mostly in the 3rd book, so I cant say much about them, but one of them is around the chapter where Bella breaks her hand after punching a certain person, and that person and another important certain peson have a stand-off, while a very annoyed Bella grumbles to herself in the car. Another is when Jacob ends up warming up Bella in a sleeping bag in a tent on a mountain, and he has some not-so-Edward-friendly thoughts. By the way, thank you for this contest and this great opportunity to win one of the best movies of 2008!
My daughter got me into this series (after she read it about 6 times). She also got her big sister into it. We really love it and the movie, too! Can’t wait until the DVD and the next movies come out. If I won this prize I would be mom of the decade!

I watched part of the movie with my daughter. I admit I fell asleep during the middle. Not that the movie was bad. I was just tired. I would like to finish the movie and read the book. My daughter tells me it’s a great saga, and she’s usually right about these kinds of things.

I was struck during reading these books at how romantic and old fashioned Edward was. I loved that!

I love the Twilight series, becuase their are not your typical vampire books. Edward is the complete opposite of what would be considered a normal vampire. They take you to another world when you read them. I alo loved the movie, because it was full of non-stop action scenes.

I haven’t seen the movie or read the books, but am planning on doing so. Mainly because I have read other vampire genre books, and have enjoyed many of them–want to see if this series holds up to the hype I have heard about it.
I have not yet even read the book or saw the movie. The movie came out at a time I had major surgery and I was housebound for 8 weeks. I have decided to buy the DVD when it becomes available. I was chatting with my friend Kelly from NY and I heard this music in the back ground. It was ABSOLUTELY enchanting. I had her turn it up so I could hear it. I will definetly be down loading that song on my computer. I saw the movie advertised on tv and now know why you are drawn to want to see the movie. First chance I get I will be watching Twilight myself. I also had to brag to Kelly that I live in Washington state and great things are happening here as well as a local author from Port Orchard.

There is something about these books that just draws you in and you can’t put them down. The love story is beautiful and the vampiers add a lot of excitement to it all. I have many friends, including myself, who forgot about cleaning and making dinner to finish the books. Hope everyone else loves them as much as I do.

What is there not to love about Twilight? Suspense, romance, danger – I love that Twilight has caused me to fall in love with reading again. Hopefully it inspires other people to put down the computer/iPod/video game/remote and pick up a book and stimulate the mind again!

I think it’s a great love story. It’s so engrossing, too–I read the series in the course of four days. My favorite thing is Bella’s superhuman (SPOILER: both as a human and vampire) ability to make up her mind and stick to it, whether it’s protecting someone or sticking with someone.

I love the books because it’s such a fun and easy read.
I love Twilight because a close friend and I bonded through the books. I had never read them and she kept telling me I should. Finally I gave in and read them. I read each book back to back and we shared our favorite moments, characters, and quotes from the book as I went along. We then went on to see the film on opening night and it has since been a big part of our friendship. These books, as well as the film, will always be a part of me because of the experiences we shared as I read them.

I love Twilight because it is the perfect blend of reality and fiction. The story line is fiction but the characters emotions and personalities are very real. I could see a piece of myself in every character. Now matter how un-human a character was I could still find my way back to their humanistic side. I like many people could only hope that I could someday find a love that even comes close to that of Edward’s and Bella’s.

I love, love, love the fact that the characters waited to get their boogie on until they were married! Call me old fashioned but it’s tiresome to me when authors use that as a shortcut instead of writing about what love truly is. ^_^ Also that Stphenie Meyer didn’t spell everything out, it was more of a ‘pan to the window’ thing which I also appreciated.

I LOVED the twilight books because it is the best love story of all time. Right up there with Romeo and Juliet. I read all four books within a two week period and rarely came up for air. I am going to re-read them in the very near future and I rarely ever re-read books. I watched the movie but my DIL was with me and bless her heart she wouldn’t be quiet so I really want to watch it over again alone LOL.

We have all the twilight books at the library where we work. It is a fav with all adults and kids.
I have loved Twilight since the beginning. I was one of the few who had to wait for every single book because I started reading them so early. Bella and Edward’s story is as romantic as Romeo and Juliet only 10 times better because they are actually together by the end. Jacob’s story is a sad one, but once Stephanie threw Renesme into the mix, I was sure everything was going to be okay. Emmett is one of my favorite characters, both in the book and in the movie. He was one of the few who was cast perfectly. The Twilight books give me hope about love, which I definitely needed.
My sister got me into these books and I love them because they are a fabulous love story that no one is going to be able to replace for a long time.
I love the way the book makes you feel. You cry, you laugh, you squeal, and even your stomach flips throughout the whole thing. Stephanie Meyer really makes sure that you are yearning for that kind of love by the end of it.
I went to the Twilight movie with my daughter who is a huge fan. I thought the movie was really good. I have just started reading the 1st book. Thanks!

I would never have read the books because a friend said that they’re REALLY geared towards teen girls. But I took my daughter to the movie and totally loved it. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting from a vampire movie – it was a really HOT love story! I loved how the sister with the black hair would close her eyes in ecstacy and say, “She smells sooooooo good!”

i love Twilight because it shows how true love will always make it through the tough spots. I am happy that Edward and Bella ended up together, but I am also happy that Jake found his true love. Twilight is my obsession and my escape when reality gets to be too much. I enjoy the endless ups and downs of Bella and Edward’s twisted lives and the amazing characters. Twilight is a phenomenal book and I constantly thank Stephenie Meyer in my mind for bringing such an inspiring story to life.

My daughter got me into Twilight, though i sort of scare her because my favorite character is James. I do feel bad that he died, but it was for a good cause because Edward and Bella are so perfect for each other that they should never be parted. Twilight is a huge part of my life as well as my daughter’s. We went to the midnight premiere of the movie together and everything. People think we are nuts, but we don’t care. My daughter and I are happy living in our own Twilight universe and no one’s opinion is going to change that.
I love reading fiction and was given this book by my colleague and even though I haven’t ever read anything concerning vampires, thinking it to be a bloody, gory story, I took upon reading Twilight and then read the next books back to back and couldn’t wait for the sequels to come out. I love the love story of Edward and Bella, the friendships, love, power, special gifts and just everything about the books.
Being such a diehard fan of the books, I decided to watch the movie. Honestly, I went in with little expectation because I usually don’t like the movies made based upon books as they’re never as good as the book but I was surprised with the making of Twilight. I think it was a great effort and I enjoyed watching the movie. I would still prefer reading the books all over again.

Reading this series re-awakened my love for books. I had stopped reading for about 8 years – kids and family took up all my free time. It’s a part of my pre-mom life that I didn’t realize I missed until I took it back.

I sometimes tend to avoid books/movies that get so much hype, but I’ve heard raves about Twilight from so many different people that it must really be good. I need to sit down and start reading.
I have always loved the mystique and allure of vampire romance inspired books and movies. Maybe that stemmed from my mother watching Dark Shadows when I was little, LOL! The Host, Breaking Dawn, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse are all Stephenie Meyer books I have read at least 2-3 times! I am so excited about Midnight Sun and am chomping at the bit awaiting it! Am I a fan or a crazed fanatic, somewhere inbetween! I love getting lost in the fantasy of these books and I can see myself on the beach this summer reading them a 3rd and 4th time because each time I capture some new feeling or sense of allureness and it never gets old!

Twilight is set in my favorite place: the Pacific Northwest! It’s gorgeous and a perfect gothic setting here in America. I recommend everyone take a trip to at least the Seattle area, if they like a rainy, wooded area (for most of the year!) Thanks for the entry!

I haven’t read or seen these yet. I like vampire books though. My daughter loved the books so I’d like to read them to get closer to her.

I’m a book snob. I usually think the books are better than the movies, occasionally the movies are just as good as the books, but the movies are almost never better than the books. So, I have not seen the movie Twilight, but I am curious, and that’s why I’m entering for a chance to win!
My daughter read the books first and convinced me to read them. I fell in love with them just as much as she did and it brought us closer together as a result. How could I not love that?!!??

I enjoyed reading the books and the movie! I’d love to win this pack.
So far I’ve only read the first novel, but I enjoyed it a great deal. In addition to being a really entertaining read, I responded to its themes of romanticism, crises of identity, and self-awakening. I also thought the film did a great job of capturing the heart and soul of the novel, with the two leads doing an especially good job of portraying the angst and emotions of Bella and Edward.

I didn’t want to read any vampire books but my granddaughter told me to read the first 20 pages and if I didn’t want to read the rest she would quit bugging me, I read all four books, loved them, would love to win this prize.

Why I want to see the movie:
1. Vampires
2. Bella is a beautiful girl…and beautiful girls are like sunsets: you just
enjoy staring at them. [There doesn't even have to be a good plot.]
3. I like the scene in the trailer where Bella is up in the tree with Edward
and the natural scenery is stunningly gorgeous, so I hope the scene is
longer than in the trailer.
4. Thre are probably other reasons, but I will only know them through
“hindsight” after I see the movie.
I have not seen this movie but I have heard friends give rave reviews about it. Soon, for me!

I’d like to read the books and see the movie because everyone speaks so highly of the series.
I just love the writing and the fact that these books are ‘teen friendly’. I’m not upset that my 14 yo read these.
I have not yet read the books nor seen the movie – but this is a case where the publisher should hope that one can and will judge a book by it’s cover – because I love the book covers SO much that I have purchased tile pendants of each of them (which I wear frequently as necklaces.) I’ve also bought given them as gifts (they look great on a silver chain!)
I listened to all the audiobooks and they just sucked me into the world of the cullens!
I love the excitement of the vampires and their special talents. I just finished “Twilight” and am ready to begin “New Moon”.

I love Twilight because it’s such a fantasy but it’s easy to put yourself in Bella’s place and you can kind of just escape from everything for a while when you read them. Also Edward is very handsome
