I confess… I have not read the Twilight books, and I have not seen the Twilight movie. I know, I know, I am so behind of one of the best series of all times (I hear)! I had of course heard of the books and the movie before, but I didn’t realize how Big Deal this whole thing was until Walmart approach all of us Elevenmoms and told us about the Twilight DVD release (check out the counter counting down the days – DVD coming out on March 21st) and so many of the Elevenmoms started absolutely raving about the books and the movie. I am not into the whole vampire stuff, and thought that this might not be for me – but after hearing all of my best friends to be so excited about Twilight I figured I had to get Twilighted here.

So – I went to Walmart and bought two first books of the Twilight series yesterday. Most everyone who had read the books told me to buy two at the time – I heard reading may become addictive, and I might want to have the next book on hand. I’m going to start reading Twilight series on Friday on my flight to SXSW conference in Austin, where I will be joining the other Elevenmoms. I’m hoping that I have at least the first two books read before the Twilight DVD comes out.
