Print and Prosper with Kodak (Printer Giveaway)

by Katja Presnal on April 27, 2009

Are you a mom? Then this giveaway is for you! This Mother’s Day season Skimbaco Lifestyle partnered with several companies to gift and celebrate moms. Since we can’t gift everyone – we are hosting several giveaways and celebrating motherhood by fun Mompreneur interviews. I hope you subscribe Skimbaco Lifestyle feed to get all of the Mama Interviews, Mama Giveaways and the Gift Guide of Gifts for Moms by Moms.

I attended for a great seminar a few weeks ago hosted by Kodak and with Yahoo’s finance writer Laura Rowley. In the seminar we went through how you can save money in every room of your house, and how little tricks and tips can end up saving you hundreds of dollars a year. I have been sharing some of those tips this month as part of my easy green tips features as well.

But what does saving money have to do with printers..? Well, a lot! With Kodak’s new Kodak ESP7 All-in-One Printer you can actually save a lot of money! Kodak developed a new type of ink cartridge that cost a fraction what other inks cost. You can actually check how much you could save at Print and Prosper.

One lucky mama will win a Kodak ESP7 All-in-One Printer ($199.99) and not just that… There will be 25 winners who will win a Kodak printer from different blogs, and all of the winners will have a change to win a grand-prize: trip to BlogHer ’09.

My old printer quit last year. When my teenager needs to print something for school, we either have to go to the library(black and white only) or go to a place that does printing in town(color). a new printer would really help out.

According to Kodak, I could save over $150 per year! I print a lot of coupons on my printer to save money, but I guess I’m not saving as much as I thought with the high cost of printing them.

I would have saved almost $160 using this printer. WOW! Nice to see a printer that uses fairly priced ink! Thanks!

17 Michael May 3, 2009 at 08:13

I am not surprised that billions of dollars are spent each year on ink cartridge costs and it’s not by accident. Not only are more people purchasing color printers but single cartridge replacements are priced to persuade multi-cartridge purchases.
Using the calculations based on printer usage, we would SAVE ENOUGH annually in ink costs TO PAY FOR the purchase price of a Kodak ESP7 All-In-One-Printer! ;)
