“If you could take your family on a road trip anywhere, where would you go and why?”
My first instinct would be to write about a road trip we have been planning for a while, but I realize that would probably not make the Kia Sorento PR people happy. We have been planning a car buying road trip; getting an overseas delivery for a new Volvo, and driving it around Europe before shipping it home. I understand it’s not for all, but that’s my favorite way of buying a new car and seeing Europe.
A second road trip that we’d like to do in a near future is a ski trip to Vermot.
We are going to Park City Mountain Resort for Christmas, I’m one of their official Snow Mamas this year, and no, we don’t want to drive there from New York – we are happ using the convenient straight direction from JFK to the Salt Lake City airport, which gets hundreds of incoming straight flights a day from major cities in the US. But to continue a great start of the ski season, I would love to take the family to ski in Vermont this winter too.
We’d really like to go to Killington in central Vermot.
Killington has almost 150 trails, all skill levels to everyone in the family, their prices are not bad, and it is only a four-hour-drive from us. I have never been to Vermont, and I’m really hoping we can go this winter. It would be a perfect drive for a long weekend, and I frankly like winter road trips better than summer ones (in a hot car).

Vermont would be a terrific trip.
Somewhere warm! Skiing doesn’t appeal to me- too cold!!!
