I got to hang out with Bobby Flay a few weeks ago, as part of the Hellmann’s Club Sandwich team. It’s very exciting to be one of the Club Sandwich food bloggers, and part of a same campaign with Bobby Flay, but it wouldn’t be as special if I wasn’t able to bring something to you as well and I have a cool treat for you today; a signed copy of Bobby Flay’s Burgers, Fries, and Shakes by Bobby Flay, Stephanie Banyas and Sally Jackson. The book is signed by Bobby Flay and it’s full of great recipes right on time for the BBQ season.
I had a moment to talk with Bobby Flay and we of course discussed about sandwiches since that’s what Club Sandwich is all about. Bobby thinks the key to any sandwich is hard and crunchy on the top and moist inside, and his spoke about his love affair with the classic Reuben sandwich. He also showed us in the cooking demonstration how he gave a new twist to the classic Reuben by creating a Turkey Reuben, which we got to taste in the event.
