I have never quite mastered the art of laundry organization in a way that it would actually look good. We have laundry baskets of all sorts, but they don’t really have a perfect place and they always seems to be on the way. Here is a laundry basket idea from Helene Steiner, a German industrial designer, a laundry-basket that is a decoration on the wall.
The basket can be attached to the wall, and easily taken off and when the basket is full. You can sort the colors already and when the basket is full it’s actually conveniently a size of one load – just throw the clothes in the washer. I’m sure that this might work in some spaces and for some, but let’s say if you have a few teenagers who do a lot sports, this might be pretty stinky wall decoration to have.

I love this!! Wow! This would be so wonderful for a small laundry area. Plus it looks really cool! lol I will defiantly keep this product in mind when people ask me about solutions for small spaces.
Thanks so much for linking it up to my Organizing Link party.
These are so cute…. of course my laundry would never “sort” out into such perfect primary colors! But I still like the idea… especially for small spaces.
Kudos for innovative design but I think I am with you on the lack of practicality. I think if you are going to tackle something as practical as laundry, it is best to make sure the solution is equally innovative and functional. Although, it is appealing to the eye!
