Road Blocks: How to Break Through and Create Results at The Work At Home Woman is a great guest post by Deanna Collins. She gives you hope and tips how to get rid of the road blocks that prevent you from being successful.
The Dressmaker of Khair Khana is a book in my “want to read” list after reading the review by my mother-in-law Donna at The Review Broads (this is her first book review – please visit and comment!). The book is about courageous women who overcome incredible odds, and I could use that kind of inspiration right now.
Why rules can save lives is a great post by the Family & Parenting channel editor Amy at Lifetime Moms. There are so many times that I have mommy guilt for being a good mom who is being a bad mom – meaning that I am telling my kids not to do something “fun” because it’s not safe. Setting rules makes you a good parent. And one day those rules can save your child’s life. Period.
All you need is a chair and some paper plates.. to stay fit. You have to check out this ridiculous video at The Luxury Spot as the one must see video of the week. I didn’t dare to post the People of Walmart video link, because my Facebook friends said they eyes started bleeding. Both of these inspire me to go to gym, so I don’t end up with back-side boobs nor have to work out at home with paper plates as my weighs.
Anatomy of a trending topic: How Twitter & the crafting community put the smackdown on Urban Outfitters is a must read post if you are even slightly interested in social media and how it impacts. One tweet can pull a product off the shelves of an entire retail chain. Great reminder for all businesses to do business with integrity – no matter what’s the size of your business. Also great reminder for us bloggers, we have a powerful voice, and remember to use it right, with integrity.

Thanks for including The Work at Home Woman in your roundup – I appreciate it.
