Restaurant Spotlight: Lobster Pot in Provincetown

On our trip to Provincetown in Cape Cod we ate at the legendary Lobster Pot in the downtown area of Provincetown. Lobster Pot has been a popular spot for visitors in Provincetown to get the sea food and friendly service for years. This award winning restaurant is with it’s flashing lights in the front looks as touristy as it is, and hasn’t seen a renovation for years. But Lobster Pot doesn’t need updated dining rooms, the rooms with ocean view fill with visitors day after day, and I now know why. The crab cake is moist and tasty, the lobster in the lobster roll cooked to perfection and the generously sized fried sea food plate is finger-licking good.

While there are fancier modern restaurants in Provincetown with serene and luxurious interiors, don’t let the atmosphere fool you. The Lobster Pot’s sea food is what makes this place a must visit on your trip to Provincetown, and you can go for the drinks or dessert in the other places.
