HELLO GORGEOUS. IS IT TIME TO REDEFINE WHAT LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST MEANS?
Aspen Colorado

Aspen is of course renowned for its picturesque setting for winter activities and good snow conditions for ski lovers, but the quaint town itself offers an array of options for those who are not taking to the slopes. Within a few blocks radius, some of the world’s best shopping, dinning, and art galleries are at your disposal. Aspen is a small enough that no matter where you are staying in town you will be within walking distance to most spots of interest. On my recent trip, I got to experience some of the best Aspen has to offer in terms of shopping, dining, and the arts.

Dining in Aspen

Aspen dining includes options from Japanese to more traditional American cuisine. You can find fresh seafoods, homemade BBQs, or a great burger. Whatever you are hungry for, Aspen dining has it to offer. A few of my top choices include: Matsuhisa- Famous for its sushi, Matsuhisa is a trendy Aspen spot that offers traditional Japanese options fused with South American ingredients. Matsuhisa is owned by Nobu Matsuhisa who also has other famous restaurants, “Nobu”, around the world in locations such as New York, Las Vegas, and London. Justice Snow- I would classify this as an American Pub with a menu that ranges from quinoa salads and soup du jour to chicken and beef entrees. The interior is warm and inviting, and the cocktail menu is out of this world. If you are looking for an array of cocktail concoctions, this is the place for you. Aspen Shopping

Shopping in Aspen

The shopping options in Aspen are endless. Famous designers such as Fendi, Prada, Burberry, and Moncler line the streets and are situated next to small, individually owned stores. You can keep warm with cashmere from world famous brands such as Malo and Loro Piana. Apparel is not the only option as many stores carry high-end jewelry and watches as well as designer sunglasses. Boogies: This is not your typical resort town store. Shoppers can pick up anything from heels to ski apparel in this chic Aspen storefront. The atmosphere is laid back and designers on the racks include the likes of J Brand, Rag & Bone, and Aiko. Not to mention there is a good diner also called Boogies located right upstairs!

Aspen Art Scene

If you love the arts, Aspen offers a great art scene with many galleries situated in the small town. My favorite gallery was Galerie Maximillian. This quaint gallery on a street near the base of Aspen Mountain featured original works from Picasso, Lichtenstein, and Warhol. A few modern pieces were also mixed throughout the gallery. A must-see for art lovers. On your day off from the slopes, take the time to explore the town of Aspen. It has so much to offer culturally, and you will not go hungry along the way!
