HELLO GORGEOUS. IS IT TIME TO REDEFINE WHAT LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST MEANS?

Real Goodness – Lactose Free Milk From Valio of Finland

I am so excited to announce that I am a Real Goodness Ambassador. Real Goodness is a lactose free milk, created by Europe’s leading dairy product manufacturer, Valio of Finland, and now available in the US. (Click below and you can apply too!)

I heard about the search for Real Goodness Ambassadors from Blue Suit Media, and I applied immediately – Real Goodness is a lactose free milk by Valio of Finland, and I can almost guarantee you will not find another blogger around here who has drank more Valio milk and Valio lactose free milk (called HYLA milk in Finland) than I have! Ok, maybe you can, but I drank it for 21 years of my life, every day, so that’s pretty brand loyal, right? Often when I am asked to be a “brand ambassador”, I say no, because I don’t really feel that passionate about many household brands – and I have realized why.. Because many of the brands we are the most passionate about, are the brands we have used since we were children. And my mom didn’t use Tide, she used OMO, my mom didn’t buy Hershey’s chocolate, she bought Fazer chocolate. This time I can say, that my mom bought Valio milk, and I have loved it since I was a little girl, and have so many childhood memories with Valio milk. When growing up, I was lactose intolerant. I hated it, because I have always loved milk, still do. It has luckily gotten better, and I drink milk every day, but there are still some food combinations that I can not tolerate well, like I can always feel it, when I eat soft ice cream or mashed potatoes. The combination of starch and lactose is just the worst if you have any level lactose intolerance. (Lactose is the a type of sugar found in milk and other dairy products and lactose intolerance is the body’s inability to digest lactose.)

I am so excited about Real Goodness, and hope that I can help you, or someone you know who has been suffering from lactose intolerance to enjoy the good taste and the health benefits of milk again with this new product found in the grocery stores. You can learn more about Real Goodness at their website full of information, recipes and even coupons. They also list Real Goodness coupons and the latest news at their Facebook page. Here is one of my favorite finds from Real Goodness website… this berry cobbler recipe, enjoy!

Mrs. Morris’ Mixed Berry Cobbler Ingredients 6 tablespoons unsalted butter ¾ cup all-purpose flour ¾ cup sugar, plus 1 tablespoon 1 teaspoon baking powder ¼ tablespoon salt ¾ cup Real Goodness™ 2% lactose free milk 2 cups strawberries (hulled & halved), blackberries (whole), and blueberries (whole), or any combination 1 tablespoon flour ¼ to ½ cup sugar Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour over berries and toss gently with ¼ to ½ cup sugar depending upon the fruit’s sweetness. Place butter in 8-inch square or 9-inch round baking dish. Set in oven to melt. Whisk together flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in small bowl. Add the Real Goodness™; whisk until just incorporated into dry ingredients. When butter has melted, remove pan from oven. Pour batter into pan, without stirring it into butter, then arrange berries over batter. Sprinkle with remaining tablespoon sugar. Bake until batter browns, about 40 to 50 minutes Full Disclosure: I received some marketing material from Real Goodness, including the same coupons as you can find from their website.
  1. I’m so happy to hear of this product. We just discovered that my baby is both lactose and soy intolerant. While he’s on a specialized formula now, I have been looking into our options for after he turns a year old, since regular and soy milks will be out of the question. I’ll keep this product in mind.

  2. Hi Cat, so sorry to hear that, and I used to take those tablets too, and they were really expensive, at least in Finland.

    Here is the store locator:
    http://www.realgoodness.com/lactose-free-milk-products.php

They have it at certain store chains like Price Chopper, Shop Rite, Key Foods, Stop and Shop… but it is a new product, so it might not just have come to your store yet. Please see the link above and see if you could find one of those store chains close to you. Also, I suggest that you apply to be a brand ambassador for them to be in the know of the latest product news.

  3. Do you happen to know which stores carry this? I’ve been dealing with lactose intolerance my entire life and I hate it. My bones are suffering from the lack of calcium and when I do indulge in a milk product I end up so sick from it. And ya know, who wants to try and swallow one of those chalky lactaid pills every time you eat. It’s a pain in the rear.
