In the world of men’s fashion, all eyes have recently been on Florence, Italy where Pitti Uomo has been taking place January 13-16th. Pitti is renowned in menswear for its sartorial edge and amazing street style.  Byron and Dexter Peart, co-founders of WANT LES ESSENTIELS, have been in Florence showcasing their latest Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.

I have enjoyed following this brand at Pitti as they always present their collections in a unique way such as the Alpine Lodge they crafted at last year’s Pitti Uomo. This year, the brand showcased their famed leather goods in a showroom that exhibits a futuristic exterior constructed from materials such as sheet metal, glass, and black woodwork which juxtaposes an interior that showcases a collection filled with soft lines and a dreamy color palette that evokes optimism and depth.

The collection is showing trends which we have seen in world of men’s accessories, namely an updated look to classic styles. Pieces are being re-crafted in new fabrics and design elements such as hints of metallics and exotic skins are creating interest in pieces. The AW 15 collection from WANT LES ESSENTIELS also features these innovative design treatments which has created a collection that is refreshingly new yet still retains the quality for which the brand is known.
